Uzbekistan today is among the leaders of the world cotton market ranks as a sixth largest cotton producer and the third on its exports in the world.
Uzbekistan is a reliable and stable supplier of cotton which favorably with its quality. In order to increase interest in the Uzbek cotton government provides assurances of supply and flexible scale of prices depending on the fluctuations in the market. Constantly expanding geography of deliveries of Uzbek cotton fiber and related products, new transport corridors are being developed taking into account new markets.
Great attention paid to improve of cotton fiber export. Established a transparent mechanism of cotton fiber export and its high quality was recognized over the world. At the same time the government is consistently developing processing of cotton in the textile enterprises of the republic at the expense of attracting foreign investment in the industry. In the coming years it is expected that the textile enterprises of the country will process up to 50% of the total domestic production of cotton fiber.
